Job Description: Scrum Master SAFe & Agile

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the Scaled Agile Framework (Protected). The candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, support cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement to ensure successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and SAFe methodologies.
- Support Program Increment (PI) planning and coordinate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and remove impediments affecting team productivity and delivery.
- Track sprint progress, team velocity, burndown charts, and other Agile metrics.
- Manage dependencies and facilitate collaboration across multiple Agile teams.
- Promote continuous improvement, transparency, accountability, and effective communication.
- Support backlog refinement, sprint commitments, and delivery planning.
- Identify delivery risks and escalate issues where necessary.




- Work with stakeholders to ensure alignment between team objectives and business priorities.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Good understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and practices.
- Hands-on experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing team impediments.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience tracking Agile metrics and supporting continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills

- Valid SAFe certification, such as SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Protected Advanced Scrum Master (SASM).
- Experience working in large-scale Agile or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.
- Experience coordinating dependencies across multiple teams.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or other enterprise technology environments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Candidates should have practical experience leading Agile teams, applying SAFe practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and supporting continuous delivery. Candidates with an active SAFe certification and strong stakeholder-management skills will be preferred.
