Oracle DB - Senior Engineer - for Prescience Decision Solutions - A Movate Company

Role Summary

Manage and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 workplace, including Oracle databases hosted on AWS/RDS, ensuring system availability, performance, security and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer Oracle EBS 12.2, including patching, cloning, upgrades and performance tuning
- Monitor Oracle databases and applications, troubleshoot issues and optimize SQL performance
- Manage database backups, recovery, security and capacity planning
- Support Oracle EBS infrastructure on AWS, including Amazon RDS
- Provide support for Oracle Middleware components, including WebLogic and Hyperion
- Automate routine administration and troubleshooting using Unix/Linux shell scripts and Python
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in the 247 on-call rotation

Required Skills





- 58 years of relevant Oracle DBA/EBS administration experience
- Hands-on Oracle EBS 12.2 administration and troubleshooting
- Oracle Database, SQL tuning, backup/recovery and patching
- AWS/RDS experience
- Unix/Linux and scripting skills

Preferred Skills

- Oracle Middleware, WebLogic and Hyperion
- Python-based automation
- Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tool
- Exposure to AI agents and MCP
