Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Kafka Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 4 years of experience in managing Apache Kafka environments. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless data streaming and message brokering within our infrastructure. As a Kafka Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Kafka clusters, as well as monitoring performance and optimizing system capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Apache Kafka clusters to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor Kafka performance metrics and take proactive steps to mitigate any issues.
- Design and implement data pipelines using Kafka, ensuring timely data processing and ingestion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to message delivery, lag,



and consumer group management.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to onboard new applications and services to the Kafka ecosystem.
- Document all processes, configurations, and procedures for Kafka cluster management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Kafka and stream processing.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka administration.
- Proficiency in Kafka ecosystem tools such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and Schema Registry.
- Strong knowledge of messaging systems and data integration concepts.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Kafka clusters.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
