Presidency PU College, Hebbal, is looking for a qualified and passionate English Lecturer to teach PU I and PU II students. Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to PU I and PU II students as per the Karnataka State PU Board syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach English literature, grammar, and communication skills effectively.
- Prepare students for board examinations through regular tests, revision sessions, and practice papers.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support where required.
- Maintain attendance records, academic reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Use interactive teaching methods to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Participate in academic meetings,



departmental activities, and college events.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualification: MA in English; B.Ed. preferred.
- Relevant teaching experience in a PU College or higher secondary institution is desirable.
- Freshers with solid subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with the Karnataka State PU Board syllabus is preferred.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
