ob Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced L3 Cisco ACI Consulting Engineer to lead architecture, design validation, escalation handling, and strategic optimization of enterprise-scale Cisco ACI environments. This role is critical in driving solution design, performance engineering, automation strategy, and complex issue resolution across multi-site ACI deployments.

The ideal candidate will possess deep architectural expertise in Cisco ACI, robust consulting capabilities, and the ability to lead L2 engineers while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Key Responsibilities: Architecture & Design Leadership

- Own end-to-end architecture, design validation, and solution blueprinting for Cisco ACI environments.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance ACI fabrics (Single-Site, Multi-Site, Multi-Pod).
- Lead migration strategies from traditional 3-tier DC to ACI-based SDN architectures.
- Review and approve network design changes, expansions, and transformation initiatives.

Technical Escalation & Complex Troubleshooting

- Act as final escalation point (L3) for critical P1/P2 ACI incidents.
- Perform deep packet analysis and root cause analysis for complex fabric, policy, or integration issues.
- Coordinate with Cisco Systems TAC for advanced case resolution.
- Drive problem management and preventive corrective actions.

Optimization & Performance Engineering

- Conduct fabric health audits and performance tuning.
- Optimize policy models (EPGs, Contracts, L3Outs, VRFs, Bridge Domains).
- Implement best practices for scale, redundancy, and high availability.

Automation & DevNet Integration





- Architect and implement automation frameworks using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for ACI configuration management.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives.

Security & Compliance

- Design micro-segmentation strategies using contracts and security policies.
- Integrate ACI with firewalls, load balancers, and third-party security appliances.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.

Client Engagement & Consulting

- Act as trusted advisor for enterprise customers.
- Conduct technical workshops, design reviews, and roadmap discussions.
- Provide architectural recommendations aligned with business objectives.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and conduct technical training sessions.

Documentation & Governance

- Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Maintain architectural standards and governance frameworks.
- Support pre-sales solution validation when required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8-12+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI architecture and operations.
- Proven experience handling enterprise-scale or multi-tenant ACI deployments.
- Strong background in Data Centre technologies and SDN transformation.
