Senior Payments SME / Solution Architect (Cross-Border Payments & Finastra GPP)

Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Payments SME with deep expertise in Cross-Border Payments, ISO 20022, CBPR+, and Finastra Global PAY plus (GPP) to support core payments modernization and migration programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead solution design and requirements across cross-border payments, SWIFT, ISO 20022, and CBPR+ initiatives.
- Provide SME guidance on Finastra GPP architecture, configuration, integration, and payment processing workflows.
- Drive end-to-end core payments transformation and migration from legacy platforms to target-state payment architecture.
- Define migration strategies, coexistence models, cutover plans, and operational readiness approaches.
- Collaborate with business, operations, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.
- Support stakeholder workshops, requirements gathering, solution reviews, and program governance.

Required Experience

- 10+ years of experience in the payments domain.




- Strong expertise in Cross-Border Payments, ISO 20022, and CBPR+.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP).
- Proven track record in core payments platform migration or modernization programs.
- Robust understanding of payment processing, routing, settlement, reconciliation, investigations, and exception management.
- Experience working with global banks and multi-country payment environments.
