ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a proactive, commercially driven Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7-10+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within the SaaS, IT, or technology industry, to lead the end-to-end finance function. Reporting to the founders, the ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, an ownership mindset, and the ability to independently manage finance operations while acting as a trusted strategic partner to the leadership team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, MIS, financial modelling, profitability analysis, and management reporting.

– Accounting & Reporting: Oversee financial closures, financial statements, reconciliations, audits, and accounting compliance.

– Treasury & Working Capital: Manage cash flows, banking facilities, collections, receivables, payables, and vendor negotiations.

– Taxation & Compliance: Ensure GST, TDS, income tax, Companies Act, and other applicable statutory compliances.

– Strategic Finance: Support fundraising, investor relations, board reporting, business planning, and commercial decision-making.

– International Operations: Oversee financial reporting, taxation, and compliance coordination for overseas subsidiaries.

– Financial Governance: Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs,



and risk management.

– Finance Transformation: Drive ERP improvements, process automation, AI adoption, and reporting efficiency.

– Team Leadership: Lead the finance team and collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Legal, and other functions.

KEY SKILLS / WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

– Qualified CA with 7–10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.

– Strong expertise in FP&A;, accounting, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting.

– Sound understanding of SaaS metrics, subscription revenue, and business profitability.

– Experience managing auditors, banking relationships, and cross-functional stakeholders.

– Exposure to international operations, fundraising, and investor reporting preferred.

– Solid leadership, analytical, communication, and commercial negotiation skills.

– Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems and finance automation.
