Key Skills

• Solid expertise in Microsoft Azure, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake Storage, Power BI, and API integrations, combined with experience in cloud platform and database administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup & disaster recovery, incident management, security & governance (Microsoft Entra ID, Azure RBAC, Managed Identities, Service Principals).

• Basic DevOps practices including Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM), PowerShell, Azure CLI, T-SQL, and automation scripting

Job Description

• Operate and support Azure-based cloud data platforms, ensuring high availability and reliability.

• Administer Azure SQL, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Azure Storage services.

• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

• Optimize database, pipeline, and platform performance.

• Manage user access, security, and governance using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC.

• Support Power BI, APIs, and enterprise data integrations.

• Perform production deployments, environment provisioning, data migrations, and disaster recovery activities.

• Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code for platform deployments.

• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
