Key Responsibilities

- Machine Setup: Prepare, set up, and calibrate Vertical Machining Centers to ensure they are ready for production. This includes tool selection, work piece positioning, and fixture setup.
- Tool Changes: Perform tool changes and adjustments as needed during the machining process, and maintain tooling inventory.
- Quality Control: Monitor the machining process to ensure the quality of parts meets specifications, and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working setting for yourself and colleagues.
- Documentation:



Maintain accurate records of machine setup, tool changes, and production data.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the machining process to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest solutions for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and CNC programs.
