Ocean Export Operations

- Oversee end-to-end ocean export shipments, from booking and documentation to vessel departure and shipment closure.
- Manage booking confirmations, container planning, shipping instructions, VGM submissions, and shipping line coordination.
- Monitor shipment milestones, vessel schedules, cut-offs, and documentation timelines.
- Ensure timely coordination with customs brokers, transporters, shipping lines, overseas agents, and internal teams.
- Proactively resolve operational delays, shipment exceptions, and documentation discrepancies.

Team & Performance Management

- Manage and guide the ocean export operations team, ensuring productivity and adherence to defined SLAs.
- Monitor operational KPIs, shipment volumes, turnaround times, and service quality.
- Allocate workloads, review team performance, and drive process standardization.
- Support team development, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

- Maintain robust customer relationships through timely communication and effective issue resolution.




- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Pricing, and overseas agents to ensure seamless shipment execution.
- Handle escalations and ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.
- Drive customer satisfaction through consistent service delivery and adherence to customer SOPs.

Compliance & Cost Management

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, customs regulations, and internal operating procedures.
- Monitor detention, demurrage, and other avoidable operational costs.
- Ensure timely and accurate shipment documentation, system updates, and billing inputs.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve service quality and cost effectiveness.
