Role & responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC and air-conditioning systems.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults in AC units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, and ventilation systems, as applicable.
- Handle maintenance of split ACs, cassette ACs, ductable units, and package units.
- Check refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, filters, thermostats, and electrical connections.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, airflow, and system performance.
- Attend breakdown calls and ensure timely resolution of HVAC complaints.
- Clean filters, coils, drain lines, and other HVAC components.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Follow safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair work.
- Coordinate with the facility manager, shift engineer, and other technicians.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure proper functioning of HVAC equipment.
