Job Summary

Responsible for safe and efficient refinery operations through Distributed Control System (DCS) monitoring, process parameter control, alarm response, and production optimisation while ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and control plant process parameters through DCS.
- Maintain stable process conditions and respond to alarms and deviations.
- Coordinate with field operators for process adjustments.
- Ensure alumina quality standards and optimise caustic, steam, and power consumption.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with maintenance teams during breakdowns and start-ups.
- Follow SOPs, LOTO, safety interlocks, and environmental guidelines.




- Maintain shift logs, production reports, event records, and SAP data.
- Coordinate with Red and White Area CROs, Shift In-charge, and Area Engineers.
- Support RCA, CAPA, TPM, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives.
- Follow work management, reliability improvement, and 5S practices.

Candidate Profile

- B.Tech (Chemical Engineering): Minimum 3 years of experience in similar industries.
- B.Sc. (PCM) / Diploma in Engineering: Minimum 5 years of experience in similar industries.
- Hands-on experience in DCS operation and process monitoring.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, coordination, and crisis management skills.
- Robust understanding of safety procedures and process optimisation.
