- Manage incoming material quality for Casting, Forging, Sheet Metal & Fabrication, and Proprietary Parts.
- Ensure components meet drawings, specifications, quality standards and inspection requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits, process audits and product audits.
- Handle PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities.
- Monitor supplier PPM, rejection, rework and quality performance.
- Drive RCA, 8D, CAPA and corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Coordinate with SCM, Purchase, R&D;, Production, Incoming Quality and suppliers.
- Conduct supplier visits for quality improvement and process stabilization.
- Support recent supplier/component development and PPAP approval.
- Drive continuous improvement, defect reduction and supplier quality improvement.
