Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to manage inventory, raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and finished goods. The role involves ensuring optimum stock levels, accurate inventory records, timely material availability for production, proper documentation, and effective coordination with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and spare parts.

Maintain optimum inventory levels by defining minimum, maximum, and reorder levels based on consumption, lead time, and production requirements.

Ensure inventory accuracy of at least 98% through regular physical stock verification, reconciliation, and monthly stock audits.

Maintain GRN, MRN, material issue slips, stock registers, gate passes, delivery challans, and ERP inventory records.

Ensure timely material availability as per production schedules to prevent production delays due to stock shortages.

Implement FIFO/LIFO as applicable, proper material classification, labelling, traceability, and systematic storage practices.

Monitor rejected, damaged, obsolete, and dead stock; coordinate with Quality, Purchase,



and Accounts for rejection documentation and vendor returns.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory MIS, consumption reports, and stock valuation reports; submit monthly stock audit reports to management by the 3rd of the following month.

Maintain 5S, housekeeping, fire safety, and material handling standards; ensure all materials are stored in designated racks or on pallets.

Lead storekeepers and helpers, define shift-wise responsibilities, and coordinate with Purchase and Production to reduce inventory costs.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Inventory accuracy of at least 98%.

Timely material availability and issuance as per production requirements.

Accurate and timely inventory documentation.

100% compliance with scheduled stock audits.

Effective storage management and control of obsolete, damaged, and dead stock.

Inventory cost optimisation and reduction in avoidable inventory losses.
