About the Role

The role involves:

- Implementing automation for certification and plant management using Python and Ansible
- Extending and integrating APIs to provide infrastructure-on-demand
- Performing and automating lab-based testing as part of current hardware and software certification
- Communicating with internal clients and stakeholders to identify new business requirements and design well architected solutions that meet their needs

Skills Required

- Experience automating repetitive tasks related to installation, configuration or management of infrastructure using Ansible, Python, shell or other scripting/programming language
- A firm understanding of networking concepts & protocols at all layers: TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, SSL etc...
- Experience with distributed web applications and knowledge of their underlying infrastructure
- Comfort working with a Linux-based command line

Skills Desired

- Experience with other programming languages




- Hands-on experience in Software installations (upgrades, updates and patching)
- Expertise with F5 load-balancer configuration and APIs (TMSH, iControl)
- Hands-on experience deploying & configuring other network infrastructure (Cisco, Arista, etc...)
- Knowledge of virtualized and containerized infrastructure
- Understanding software version control, deployment & build tools and SDLC practices
- Recognized industry certifications from F5, Cisco and other vendors
- Experience: 510 years, mid-to-senior level.
- Core Skills: Experience and knowledge of Infrastructure (on-prem), tooling, automation etc. is mandatory; Python and Ansible strongly preferred but not mandatory; observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack) a big plus.
