Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled UPS Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of UPS equipment, performing preventive maintenance, attending customer service calls, and providing effective technical support at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and configure UPS systems at customer locations.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of UPS equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS faults, power supply issues, and battery-related problems.
- Inspect, test, and replace UPS batteries, rectifiers, inverters, and other components as required.
- Conduct battery health checks, voltage measurements, and load testing.
- Attend breakdown calls and provide timely on-site technical support.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance checklists, and customer service records.




- Coordinate with customers and internal technical teams to resolve service issues.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures during installation and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance to customers on UPS operation and maintenance.
- Travel to customer sites as required for installation, inspection, and service activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in UPS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with online UPS systems, offline UPS systems, and battery banks.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, power electronics, rectifiers, inverters, and battery charging systems.
- Ability to use multimeters, clamp meters, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for field service activities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to prepare service reports.
