Role & responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily Paint Shop operations.
- Ensure proper execution of pretreatment, painting, curing, and finishing processes.
- Supervise powder coating and liquid painting activities as per customer specifications.
- Monitor paint thickness, adhesion, gloss level, and finish quality.
- Identify and resolve painting defects such as orange peel, blistering, pinholes, peeling, runs, and color variation.
- Control paint and consumable usage to minimize wastage and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
- Maintain paint booths, curing ovens, compressors, and related equipment.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, process parameters, and work instructions.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
