Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Focused Run (FRUN) / SAP ALM Consultant to implement, configure, and support SAP monitoring and observability solutions across complex SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP Focused Run, SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), SAP ALM, technical monitoring, system onboarding, diagnostics agents, and integration of SAP and non-SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP Focused Run environments and supporting technical components.
- Perform managed system onboarding for SAP ABAP, Java, HANA, SAP RISE, cloud, on-premises, and hybrid landscapes.
- Configure and manage:
- SAP Host Agent
- Straightforward Diagnostics Agent (SDA)
- SAP JVM/JRE
- CA Introscope / APM Integration





- Configure and maintain:

- System Landscape Directory (SLD)
- SLD Registration (SLDR)
- Landscape Management Database (LMDB)
- Outside Discovery
- Simple System Integration (SSI)

- Implement and support:

- Technical Monitoring
- System Monitoring
- Job Monitoring
- Interface & Integration Monitoring
- Real User Monitoring (RUM)

- Design monitoring templates, thresholds, alerts, routing rules, dashboards, and operational reports.
- Troubleshoot onboarding and monitoring issues involving:

- RFC connectivity
- SSL Certificates
- Authentication
- Binary deployment
- SAP Agents
- Data Suppliers
- SSI configuration

- Work closely with SAP Basis, Application, Security, Network, and Managed Services teams for onboarding and issue resolution.
- Create technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, validation reports, knowledge transfer documents, and operational procedures.
- Support monitoring governance, pilot onboarding activities, rollout planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
