Key Responsibilities

- Perform welding and fabrication work as per engineering drawings, including transformer tanks, tank covers, base frames and other associated components.
- Carry out MIG/MAG, TIG and ARC welding, including cutting, fitting, alignment and assembly of MS, SS and other metal components.
- Ensure proper welding quality, dimensional accuracy and leak-proof joints in transformer tanks. Identify and rectify welding defects and oil leakage issues.
- Perform grinding, cleaning and finishing of fabricated components. Maintain welding machines, tools and equipment in positive working condition.
- Follow production schedules, safety procedures and PPE requirements, ensuring timely completion of assigned work and proper housekeeping in the fabrication area.

Qualification ITI – Welder / Fabrication or equivalent technical qualification preferred.

Experience

Skilled and experienced candidates are preferred.

Candidates with relevant hands-on welding experience in manufacturing, fabrication, transformer manufacturing or industrial production will be given preference.

Freshers/ITI trainees with good welding skills may also be considered.
