Key Responsibilities:
- Patient &
- Provider Communication: Handling inbound and outbound calls for appointment scheduling, re-scheduling, cancellations, same, patient concerns.
- Information &
- Inquiry Management: Providing information on healthcare services, understanding insurance policies, and interpreting Explanation of Advantages (EOB).
- Data &
- Documentation: Accurately documenting calls, managing data reports, and ensuring all information is entered correctly into systems.
- Quality &
- Compliance: Adhering to strict quality standards and maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.
- Compliance: Adhering to industry regulations, HIPAA regulations, and staying updated on coding and billing practices.
