Role Description The Visa Counsellor will work full time on-site in Politics of Chandigarh, providing end-to-end support to clients seeking study and immigration visas. Daily responsibilities include counseling prospective clients on suitable countries, programs, and visa options, and explaining eligibility criteria and documentation requirements in clear, accurate terms. The role involves assessing client profiles, preparing and reviewing application forms, assembling required documents, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely submission of visa files.

The Visa

Counsellor will maintain regular communication with clients, respond to queries, schedule appointments, and provide updates on application status.



Additional duties include staying current with changing immigration policies, participating in promotional or information sessions, and maintaining detailed records in company systems.

Qualifications

- Strong client service and counseling skills, with the ability to understand individual goals and provide transparent, objective guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English (spoken and written); proficiency in Hindi or Punjabi is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple applications, documents, and deadlines accurately.
- Basic knowledge of visa and immigration processes for key destinations such as USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Europe, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Comfort with using computers, email, and common office software; experience with CRM or case-management tools is beneficial.

- Ability to work on-site in Politics of Chandigarh, collaborate with team members, and handle client-facing responsibilities professionally.
- Prior experience in visa counseling, study abroad consultancy, or a related customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certifications in immigration, counseling, or international education are an advantage.
