Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor – Tamil. The person in this role will edit and assemble video content in Tamil, including cutting footage, adding transitions, and integrating audio, music, subtitles, and basic motion graphics. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with content creators and scriptwriters, ensuring video outputs match brand guidelines, and refining pacing, flow, and visual storytelling.

Editor will manage multiple projects, organize raw media files,



and prepare final exports optimized for various digital platforms. The role also involves reviewing feedback, making revisions promptly, and contributing creative ideas to improve overall content quality.

Qualifications

- Strong video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Ability to work with audio, subtitles, and basic motion graphics to enhance viewer engagement.
- Excellent command of Tamil (reading, writing, and speaking) and valuable proficiency in English for collaboration and documentation.
- Understanding of digital content formats, social media platforms, and audience-focused storytelling.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with creative and production teams.
- Prior experience as a video editor, especially in Tamil-language content, is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, or a related field is a plus, though equivalent experience is also valued.
