Job Overview

Codux Digital is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern with an interest in social media trends, digital content creation, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate should be passionate about creating engaging video content for various digital platforms and eager to develop practical video editing skills through hands-on projects and real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and produce engaging videos for social media platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Create reels, montage edits, promotional videos, product videos, talking-head videos, and personal branding content.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, transitions, effects, and storytelling techniques.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing and creative teams to develop content ideas and campaigns.
- Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound effects, background music, and visual effects wherever required.
- Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and project requirements.
- Manage multiple editing tasks while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.




- Assist in creating video content for digital marketing campaigns and client projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge or practical experience in video editing.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Interest in creating short-form videos, reels, and trend-based content.
- Basic understanding of video pacing, transitions, colour grading, audio mixing, and visual storytelling.
- Creativity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A portfolio or sample editing work is an added advantage.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
- Familiarity with current social media trends and digital content strategies.
- Ability to create visually appealing and engaging content.
- Willingness to learn new editing techniques and work on live projects.
