Unit Head - Treasury

Reporting to - Segment Head - Retail and BBG TAG

Job Purpose

Lead the Treasury business in assigned geographies, driving FX and derivative product offerings for SME customers. Ensure business growth, compliance, and solid stakeholder relationships while achieving financial and non-financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy for TAG Business for Branch Channel and Business Banking Group

Implement treasury product strategies for branch segments.

Drive FX and cross-border trade wallet share growth.

Expand customer derivative business in branch segments.

Financial Objective

Set revenue and volume targets at customer and segment levels.

Develop and review customer-specific marketing plans.

Maximize ROE through treasury product offerings.

Relationship Management - external and internal

Build senior-level relationships with customers to enhance business.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders for risk and credit approvals.

Leverage relationships to drive business growth.

Internal Processes





Drive digitization and automation of trade processes.

Ensure timely transaction fulfillment within policy guidelines.

People Management

Plan resources and manage team productivity.

Drive performance management and career development.

Communicate and align team with organizational objectives.

Organizational Objectives

Implement organizational goals beyond immediate responsibilities.

Represent the Treasury department in all forums within the geography.

Risk Management and Risk mitigation

Manage credit and market risks for treasury products.

Evaluate reputational and legal risks in product offerings.

Ensure adherence to suitability and appropriateness policies.

Compliance, Other Units Of Treasury.

Ensure regulatory compliance across all processes.

Collaborate with other treasury units for seamless operations.

Drive adherence to internal policies and guidelines.
