- Trademark Advocate

Role & responsibilities

- Represent clients in trademark and copyright hearings before the relevant authorities.
- Draft, review, and file responses to trademark objections, oppositions, office actions, and examination reports.
- Prepare and manage trademark oppositions, rectifications, and other contentious matters.
- Review trademark filing and prosecution work handled by team members.
- Provide legal opinions and strategic advice on trademark and copyright matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, notices, agreements, and related IPR documentation.
- Coordinate with the Trademark Registry, Copyright Office, government authorities, and external counsels.
- Manage trademark portfolios and ensure timely action on deadlines and renewals.
- Maintain regular client communication and provide status updates on ongoing matters.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in Intellectual Property Law.




- Ensure quality control and compliance with legal and procedural requirements.

Preferred candidate profile LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council is mandatory.
- Prior experience in Intellectual Property Rights, with a strong focus on trademarks and copyrights.
- Solid knowledge of Indian Trademark and Copyright Laws and related procedures.
- Experience in handling trademark hearings, objections, oppositions, rectifications, and prosecution matters.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters and meet strict deadlines.
- Experience in trademark portfolio management and international trademark filings will be an added advantage.
