Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tendering Engineer to manage the end-to-end tendering process for electrical infrastructure projects, from opportunity identification and cost estimation to bid submission and post-bid coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Tender Identification & Tracking: Monitor CPPP, GeM, state e-procurement portals, and private client platforms to identify relevant project opportunities.
- Tender Document Analysis: Review tender notices, scope of work, technical specifications, eligibility criteria, and contractual terms.
- BOQ & Cost Estimation: Analyse electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and equipment requirements to prepare BOQs and accurate cost estimates.
- Vendor & Rate Coordination: Obtain supplier quotations, evaluate commercial offers, and prepare comparative statements to support competitive bidding.
- Bid Preparation & Compliance: Prepare techno-commercial proposals, technical compliance sheets, and required tender documentation, including EMD and Performance Security requirements.
- Online Bid Submission: Manage Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) and ensure accurate,



complete, and timely submission of bids.
- Post-Bid Coordination: Track tender status, coordinate pre-bid meetings and clarifications, respond to technical and commercial queries, and maintain tender MIS and records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical tendering, estimation, or project bidding.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation, electrical drawings, SLDs, and material costing.
- Familiarity with CPPP, GeM, state e-tendering portals, and online bid submission processes.
- Knowledge of EMD, Performance Security, technical compliance, and commercial bid documentation.
- Solid analytical, documentation, vendor coordination, and deadline-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
