Role Purpose

MBU is hiring experienced Tele-callers to convert prospective student and parent enquiries into confirmed admissions. TC will call leads, counsel them on Programmes, fees and campus life, and guide them through the admission process until enrolment.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to prospective students and parents from the enquiry database, campaign leads and walk-in data.
- Handle inbound enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Explain MBU's Programmes, eligibility, fee structure, scholarships, hostel and campus facilities accurately.
- Understand each student's interests and counsel them towards the right Programme.
- Follow up consistently with warm leads until they apply, pay and enroll.
- Invite leads for campus visits and counselling sessions; confirm and remind them of appointments.
- Update every call outcome, status and next follow-up date in the CRM on the same day.
- Address parents' concerns on fees, placements, safety and accreditation with honest, consistent answers.
- Share daily and weekly call and conversion reports with the Admissions team.
- Hand over qualified leads to senior counsellors and coordinate document collection and fee payment reminders.
- Follow MBU's admission policies, communication scripts and data-privacy norms.

Performance Measures

Targets will be set by the Admissions Head at joining and reviewed monthly. Performance is measured on-




- Number of connected calls per day
- Lead-to-campus-visit conversion
- Lead-to-application and application-to-admission conversion
- Follow-up discipline and CRM data accuracy
- Quality of counselling (call audits and parent feedback)

Requirements

Qualification - Graduate in any discipline (higher qualification is considered for the upper end of the salary range).

Experience – 2 to 5 years in tele-calling, preferably in admission counselling for a university, college or ed-tech company.

Skills-

- Fluent in Telugu and English. Hindi is an added advantage
- Explicit, confident, persuasive phone communication
- Active listening and the ability to handle objections
- Working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Excel
- Target-driven, disciplined with follow-ups, and comfortable with repetitive calling
- Patient and courteous when dealing with parents and students

Preferred - Candidates based in Tirupati, or willing to relocate immediately.

Compensation and Working Conditions

- Salary - Rs.20,000 – Rs.30,000 per month. Final offer depends on qualification, relevant experience and interview performance.
- Location - Tirupati, working from the MBU campus.
- Working hours and days - To be confirmed by Admissions at the time of offer. Extra hours may be needed during peak admission season.
