Designation: Security Officer

Job Brief: JSW Steel Limited is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our Security Department within the mining sector. The role demands a proactive professional responsible for safeguarding company assets, personnel, and infrastructure by implementing robust security protocols tailored to the steel manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial security operations, demonstrate strong situational awareness, and effectively coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive security policies and procedures specific to the mining environment to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments across the facility to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory compliance.
- Manage access control systems, including issuance of identification badges and monitoring entry and exit points to maintain strict control over personnel and vehicle movement.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, coordinating with emergency services and internal stakeholders as necessary.




- Maintain detailed and accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on security awareness, emergency response protocols, and safety regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards applicable to the manufacturing sector.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of security equipment such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, and communication devices to ensure optimal functionality.
- Implement crowd control measures during shift changes, company events, and emergency evacuations to ensure orderly conduct and safety.
