Role Description The Tax Compliance Associate (minimum 6 months experience) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The associate will assist with preparing, reviewing, and filing direct and indirect tax returns in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate tax records, supporting tax assessments and audits, monitoring changes in tax legislation, and helping ensure timely compliance with statutory deadlines.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather required documentation,



performing basic tax computations, and preparing summary reports for senior team members. The associate will also contribute to process improvements, maintain confidentiality of client information, and support ad hoc compliance projects as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills to support accurate and timely tax filings.
- Candidates should possess Legal Compliance knowledge and the ability to interpret relevant tax laws and guidelines.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review data, identify discrepancies, and support tax calculations.
- Candidates should possess clear and qualified Communication skills for collaborating with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; foundational knowledge of Indian direct and indirect tax; proficiency in MS Excel and tax-related software; strong attention to detail; integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
