Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our fashion design business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in garment cutting, stitching, fitting, alterations, and finishing, with the ability to deliver high-quality garments as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Stitch garments according to designs, measurements, and customer requirements.
- Perform fabric cutting, measurement taking, and pattern-based stitching.
- Handle garment fitting, alterations, and finishing.
- Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines as required.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of assigned work.
- Handle different fabrics and maintain proper fabric utilization.
- Coordinate with the designer or production team to achieve the desired garment finish.

Required Skills




- Practical experience in tailoring, garment stitching, and alterations.
- Knowledge of garment measurements, cutting, and fitting.
- Ability to understand designs and stitching instructions.
- Good finishing skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a boutique, fashion designer studio, or garment manufacturing setup is preferred.
- Skilled candidates with strong practical tailoring experience are encouraged to apply.
