Job Summary:

Plans and executes purchasing and replenishment activities to meet customer demand, maintain inventory targets, and ensure accurate purchasing and planning data.

Essential Functions:

- Review and process purchase requisitions.
- Plan, schedule, and expedite materials to meet demand and delivery requirements.
- Create and manage purchase orders, blanket orders, reschedules, and inventory transfers.
- Maintain accurate supplier, inventory, and planning data in the ERP system.
- Forecast requirements and recommend appropriate safety stock levels.
- Manage shortages, excess inventory, receiving issues, invoice discrepancies, and supplier non-conformances.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to support service, quality, and delivery goals.
- Manage a high volume of SKUs and related purchasing requirements.
- Negotiate supplier pricing, delivery, and lead times.

Entry Level Qualifications:

- Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of purchasing, supply chain, inventory planning, or related experience.
- Five years of MRP/ERP experience with knowledge of MRP concepts and bills of material.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
