Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated NICU Staff Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for newborns, premature babies, and critically ill neonates. The ideal candidate should be committed to delivering high-quality patient care while working closely with neonatologists and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to newborn and premature babies in the NICU.
- Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen saturation, and overall patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist neonatologists during neonatal procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate feeding, fluid balance, and patient care records.
- Operate and monitor neonatal equipment such as incubators, warmers, ventilators, CPAP, infusion pumps, and phototherapy units.
- Follow strict infection prevention and control protocols.
- Respond promptly to neonatal emergencies and provide immediate nursing support.




- Educate and support parents regarding newborn care and NICU procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with NICU or Neonatal Care qualification/training as required by the hospital.
- Experience: 2–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a NICU.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.

- Strong knowledge of neonatal intensive care practices.
- Ability to handle critical newborn cases with confidence.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
