Job Summary We are looking for a technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to manage the technical operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and performance improvement of machinery used in our bakery manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth machine operation, reducing downtime, and maintaining production efficiency and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate, inspect, repair, and maintain bakery manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Identify mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain and service mixers, dough kneaders, dividers, moulders, proofers, ovens, conveyors, slicing machines, and packaging equipment.
- Inspect and replace mechanical components, including bearings, belts, chains, gears, rollers, shafts, and couplings.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend technical improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist with machine installation, commissioning, calibration, adjustment, and modification.
- Coordinate with production, electrical, and other technical teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, maintenance schedules, machine history, and breakdown reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, equipment operating standards,



and food manufacturing hygiene requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment reliability.
- Manage maintenance tools, spare parts, and technical resources effectively.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant technical training or industrial maintenance experience will be an advantage.

Required Skills and Experience

- Experience in mechanical engineering, industrial machinery, maintenance, or technical support.
- Robust knowledge of mechanical systems, machine components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Practical experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, and industrial drives.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and support production requirements.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in bakery manufacturing, food processing, other industrial production environments.
- Knowledge of bakery production machinery and packaging systems.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent technical issues when required.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
- Other benefits: As per company policy.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
