Preventive Maintenance

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.

- Perform regular inspections, lubrication, and cleaning to prevent equipment failures.

- Track and monitor the performance of machinery to identify potential issues before they cause breakdowns.

2. Corrective Maintenance

- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures or malfunctions.

- Repair or replace faulty components of machinery and equipment to restore operations.

- Ensure the maintenance work is completed in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

3. Equipment Installation and Commissioning

- Oversee the installation and commissioning of recent equipment or machinery in the plant.

- Ensure that the installation meets operational standards and specifications.

- Provide technical support during the start-up phase and ensure everything is running efficiently.

4. Maintenance Planning

- Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules to ensure minimal disruption to production.

- Coordinate with production teams to plan maintenance activities around production schedules.

- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and servicing.

5. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

- Use specialized tools and techniques to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic faults.

- Analyze root causes of equipment breakdowns and implement corrective measures.

- Collaborate with other engineering teams to resolve complex issues.

6. Inventory and Spare Parts Management

- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and components.





- Ensure that replacement parts are readily available to minimize downtime.

- Manage the procurement and storage of spare parts, and ensure efficient usage.

7. Safety and Compliance

- Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Adhere to company policies, industry standards, and environmental regulations.

- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards in the plant.

8. Performance Monitoring

- Monitor the performance of plant machinery and systems to identify potential areas for improvement.

- Implement performance tracking systems to measure the efficiency of maintenance activities.

- Optimize plant equipment performance to reduce energy consumption and operational costs.

9. Continuous Improvement

- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the reliability of plant operations.

- Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in the field of plant maintenance.

- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

10. Team Coordination and Supervision

- Supervise and train maintenance technicians and staff.

- Provide guidance on troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance techniques.

- Ensure that the maintenance team follows best practices and safety standards.

11. Reporting and Documentation

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime.

- Prepare and submit regular reports on equipment status, maintenance schedules, and issues.

- Track maintenance costs and provide recommendations for cost reduction and process optimization.
