Key Responsibilities & Duties

1. Production Supervision & Team Management

- Oversee Daily Operations: Plan and assign daily manufacturing tasks to a team of panel fabricators, wiring technicians, and assembly workers.
- Technical Guidance: Supervise hands-on wiring, component mounting, busbar sizing, and structural integration of panels.
- Timeline Enforcement: Track production workflows to guarantee projects are completed within scheduled delivery deadlines.

2. Engineering Blueprint Interpretation

- Schematic Verification: Read, analyze, and interpret complex electrical circuit diagrams, general arrangement (GA) drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with the design and design engineering teams to flag inconsistencies or optimize panel layout designs.

3. Quality Assurance & Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)

- Continuity & Routine Testing: Lead stage-wise inspection and final testing of control panels (including high-potency, insulation resistance, loop testing, and functional PLC logic verification).
- Compliance Checks: Ensure panels are configured safely according to Indian Electricity Rules (IE Rules) and industrial manufacturing norms.

4. Inventory & Spares Management

- Material Take-Off: Audit and request panel accessories, switchgears (MCBs, MCCBs, ACBs), PLCs, and VFDs based on job cards.
- Waste Optimization: Monitor resource allocation to minimize structural and wire wastage during layout fabrication.





5. Safety & Site Maintenance

- Safety Enforcement: Implement workplace safety checklists, Lockout/Tagout protocols, and proper PPE adherence within the factory floor / customer site

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
- Experience: 2 to 8+ years of hands-on experience in industrial control panel building or a switchgear manufacturing environment.
- Licensing: Possession of a valid Electrical 'C' License issued by the Tamil Nadu Electrical Licensing Board (TNELB) is an advantage.
- Core Technical Knowledge:
- Proven experience with PLC panel routing, relay logic circuits, and automated switchgear systems.
- High proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and standard technical documentation.
- Understanding of component choices from major brands (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, ABB, L&T;).
- Software Familiarity: Basic understanding of Electrical AutoCAD or design review frameworks is an advantage.

- Industry: Electrical Panel Manufacturing / Industrial Automation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
