Speech Therapist – Responsibilities and Duties

- Assess, diagnose, screen, and help prevent language, speech, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate with their families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to design and implement effective treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapies along with innovative techniques to provide high-quality care.
- Stay up to date with advancements in the field by attending conferences, conducting research, and expanding professional and academic networks.
- Educate clients and their families about speech disorders and the available therapy options.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of client history, assessments, and progress.
- Regularly evaluate client progress and modify therapy programs as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Speech Therapist – Qualifications and Skills





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid and relevant license and certification to practice.
- Prior experience working with specific disorders and age groups, as required.
- Solid understanding of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, along with their treatment methods.
- Familiarity with database management and clinical documentation software.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Resourcefulness with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to engage in research activities and travel to attend conferences and professional development programs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
