About the Project

Innodata is seeking qualified language specialists to support the Speech Benchmark project, focused on speech recognition, audio transcription, linguistic validation, and quality assurance to improve AI-powered speech recognition systems.

Key Responsibilities

Speech Data Specialist

- Transcribe and validate audio recordings with a high degree of accuracy.
- Review transcripts for linguistic accuracy, dialectal variations, accents, and language-specific errors.
- Follow project guidelines and maintain established quality standards.
- Identify and report transcription discrepancies and recurring linguistic issues.

Senior Language Consultant

- Develop and refine language-specific guidelines, workflows, and quality standards.
- Prepare training materials and support the onboarding of language specialists.
- Review complex linguistic cases and provide expert guidance.
- Analyze recurring errors and recommend improvements to transcription quality.




- Mentor specialists and collaborate with project management and quality assurance teams.

Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in the target language.
- Strong listening, transcription, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Positive understanding of language conventions, regional dialects, and accents.
- Previous experience in speech transcription, linguistic quality assurance, audio annotation, or ASR-related projects is preferred.
- Senior candidates should have relevant experience in linguistic review, quality standards, workflow development, training, or mentoring.

Languages Albanian, Central Aymara, Highland Puebla Nahuatl, Simplified Mandarin Chinese, Western Panjabi, Russian, Sindhi, Somali, Sundanese, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu.
