Recruitment Sourcing Specialist (Contract) - India

About the Role

Ascend Performance Materials is looking for a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to support hiring activities across our Global Shared Services (GSS) functions and Plant Operations positions in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and building talent pipelines for open positions while partnering closely with recruiters and hiring managers.

This is a consultant/contract role and not a direct employment prospect with Ascend Performance Materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and identify qualified candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for GSS and manufacturing/plant-based roles.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and assess candidate fit against role requirements.
- Coordinate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and priorities.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and sourcing activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).




- Proactively market opportunities and engage passive talent.
- Support recruiting projects and high-volume hiring initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in recruitment sourcing, talent acquisition, or recruitment consulting.
- Experience sourcing for corporate/GSS functions and manufacturing/plant positions preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and talent mapping.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements Willingness to work from the Chennai office at least 3 days per week.

Flexibility to support UK shift timings based on business requirements.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Immediate availability or ability to join at short notice is highly preferred.

Contract Details

Initial contract duration: 6 months

Contract extension may be considered based on business requirements and hiring needs.

This position will be engaged through a third-party staffing partner and is not a direct employee role with Ascend Performance Materials.

Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.
