Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sourcing Engineer to identify reliable suppliers, source quality materials and components, negotiate competitive prices, and ensure timely procurement in line with company requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop current suppliers and vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Source engineering components, raw materials, and other items as per technical and business requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with the design, production, quality, and purchase teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Request for Quotations), purchase requisitions, and comparative statements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Maintain supplier databases, pricing records, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, cost, and delivery.




- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sources.
- Support vendor audits, supplier assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor development, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of engineering components, raw materials, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic procurement documentation.
- Experience with ERP or procurement software will be an added advantage.

- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.

- Development of new and alternate suppliers.
- Timely completion of sourcing activities.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
