Solar Energy and Electrical Training Programme for Unemployed Youth The proposed programme aims to provide industry-oriented skill development training in Solar Energy and Electrical Installation to unemployed youth, enabling them to acquire the technical knowledge and practical skills required to secure employment in the renewable energy and electrical sectors.

The programme will focus on equipping candidates with hands-on experience in solar panel installation, electrical wiring, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety procedures, and the operation of solar power systems. The training will combine classroom instruction with practical demonstrations and field-based learning to ensure that candidates are prepared to meet industry requirements.

The key objective is to enhance the employability of unemployed youth, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, by providing them with market-relevant technical skills and industry-recognised certifications, wherever applicable.

Upon successful completion of the training, candidates will receive placement assistance through industry partnerships, electrical contractors, solar energy companies, renewable energy service providers,



and other relevant employers. Support will also be provided for interview preparation, resume development, employer coordination, and job placement.

- Provide skill development training to unemployed youth in solar energy and electrical trades.
