Job Title: Software Engineer – Full Stack (Python, React)

About the Role

We are looking for a versatile Software Engineer to work on enterprise software platforms involving scientific computing, infrastructure monitoring, cloud integrations, project management and secure software development.

The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development skills, experience with Python-based backend systems, and the ability to work with complex existing codebases, distributed task execution and infrastructure-level integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain and enhance frontend applications using React.js, JavaScript and Material UI.
- Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and Flask.
- Work with asynchronous task processing systems using Celery and Redis.
- Design, optimize and maintain database operations involving MongoDB.
- Develop and maintain integrations with SVN, Git, SSH, cloud services and external platforms.
- Build and improve infrastructure monitoring features, including disk usage, process monitoring and server monitoring.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, application errors, security vulnerabilities and reliability issues.
- Implement secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, secure communication and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing workflows, investigate technical challenges and deliver reliable solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, technical documentation and continuous improvement of existing systems.





Required Technical Skills

- Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
- Experience with Material UI or similar component libraries.
- Familiarity with API integration and state management.
- Strong experience with Python.
- Hands-on experience with Flask or similar backend frameworks.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
- Knowledge of asynchronous processing, background jobs and task queues.
- Experience with MongoDB.

Valuable to Have

- Strong Linux fundamentals and command-line proficiency.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Understanding of application deployment, logging, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Knowledge of application security, OWASP vulnerabilities and secure API design.
- Experience working with legacy systems and modernizing existing applications.
