About Tripzy

Tripzy is an AI-powered travel planning and concierge platform for India. We help Gen Z and young professionals discover off-beat destinations and plan complete trips, from itineraries to stays and transport. We are incubated at Bennett Hatchery Foundation, backed by Times Group, and are now scaling our product, our users and our booking capabilities.

About the Role

We are moving from MVP to a full product, and bookings are the heart of that move. We are looking for a Software Development Intern with real hands-on experience to work on our website and the end-to-end booking experience, from choosing a stay or transport option to payment, confirmation and post-booking support. You will work directly with the founders on a live product with real users, and you will own real features, not practice tasks.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and improve features across the Tripzy website, both frontend and backend
- Build parts of the booking flow: search, selection, pricing, payment, confirmation, cancellations and refunds
- Integrate third-party travel APIs (hotels, transport, partner platforms) and payment gateways, with proper error handling
- Build features for our vendor and partner platform
- Build user account features such as vouchers, referrals, rewards and promotions
- Work with our AI and data team so recommendations and itineraries show up smoothly in the product
- Help deploy and monitor the product on cloud infrastructure,



and fix bugs quickly when something breaks

Requirements

- Prior internship or real project experience building web applications, with at least one project that is live or deployed
- Solid skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (React)
- Working knowledge of a backend language such as Python or Node.js, and building REST APIs
- Valuable understanding of SQL databases and Git
- Prior work experience with cloud Infrastructres like GCP, AWS, Azure
- Currently pursuing or recently completed B.Tech / BCA / MCA or a related field
- Links to a live project or GitHub where you can speak in detail about what you built

Good to Have

- Experience integrating payment gateways or third-party APIs
- Experience with cloud deployment (GCP or AWS) and CI/CD
- Experience building e-commerce, booking or marketplace features
- Experience with React Native or mobile apps
- Experience with LLM APIs
