Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Social Media Content Creator based in Bengaluru. The intern will create engaging content for social media platforms, including short-form videos, photos, captions, and stories that reflect the spirit of the city. Daily tasks include researching local stories, planning content calendars, capturing on-ground footage, and collaborating with the team to refine concepts and narratives.

The role also involves monitoring social media trends, supporting community engagement through comments and messages, and assisting in basic analytics tracking to understand audience response.



The internship is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience in digital storytelling and social media content creation.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust content creation skills, including social media copywriting, basic scripting, and visual storytelling.
- Candidates should possess skills in photography and video creation, including shooting and basic editing for platforms like Instagram and Reels.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement strategies.
- Candidates should possess good research and observation skills to identify relevant stories and local narratives in Bengaluru.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site and interact with diverse people.
- Relevant skills such as familiarity with content planning tools, basic design skills (e.g., Canva), and an interest in Bengaluru’s culture and communities would be beneficial.
- A background in media, communications, journalism, or related fields is a plus, but a strong portfolio or samples of prior work can also be considered.
