Role Description: The Site Supervisor is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring work is carried out according to plans, specifications, and safety standards. The role includes coordinating labor and subcontractors, monitoring material usage, and tracking progress against schedules.

The Site

Supervisor will inspect work quality, report site issues, maintain documentation such as daily logs and checklists, and support compliance with local regulations and company policies. The position also involves liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients, resolving minor site-level challenges, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment.





Qualifications

- Ability to supervise construction activities, coordinate site teams, and manage day-to-day operations on active building projects.
- Skills in reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and technical specifications, with attention to detail in execution and quality control.
- Knowledge of basic construction safety practices, site housekeeping standards, and compliance with relevant local regulations.
- Experience in tracking work progress, maintaining site records, and reporting status updates to project leadership.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with workers, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders on site.
- Ability to identify and escalate issues affecting timelines, quality, or safety, and support practical solutions at site level.
- Prior experience in building or infrastructure projects as a Site Supervisor or similar role is highly beneficial.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; relevant vocational qualifications may also be considered.
- Familiarity with basic computer tools or mobile applications for reporting, documentation, and coordination is an advantage.
