Key Responsibilities

Theme Development & Customization: Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build custom sections and templates tailored to fashion and apparel merchandising.

Mobile-First Optimization: Ensure the storefront is perfectly responsive and optimized for mobile users, specifically aligning with social media traffic (e.g., traffic driven from Meta ads and Instagram Reels).

App Integration & Management: Evaluate, install, and customize Shopify apps (e.g., reviews, loyalty programs, size guides, inventory management). Ensure apps do not negatively impact page load speeds.

Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall technical performance to reduce bounce rates and improve SEO.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Collaborate with the marketing team to build custom landing pages for campaigns, optimize the checkout flow, and implement A/B testing elements.

Tracking & Analytics Setup: Assist with the technical implementation of tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4) to ensure accurate measurement of Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve bugs, cross-browser compatibility issues, and frontend glitches promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:



2+ years of proven experience in Shopify development, with a strong portfolio of live Shopify stores (experience with Shopify Plus is a bonus).

Technical Skills

Expert-level knowledge of Shopify's templating language (Liquid).

Proficiency in frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (Vanilla JS, jQuery, or modern frameworks like Vue/React).

Experience working with the Shopify Storefront API and Admin API.

Design Sensibility: A strong eye for UI/UX principles, particularly in the fashion/apparel sector, with the ability to translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect code.

Marketing-Tech Knowledge: Understanding of basic technical SEO, digital marketing tools, and ad tracking integrations.

Problem Solving: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and find creative solutions to technical constraints within the Shopify ecosystem.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
