Purpose/Objective

Shift In charge - Instrumentation (LT) is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of low-tension (LT) instrumentation systems within the port, ensuring uninterrupted operations, adherence to safety standards, and optimization of equipment performance.

The role involves leading maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring timely issue resolution, and supporting efficient port operations.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Instrumentation LT Management Oversight: Oversee instrumentation maintenance activities during the assigned shift, monitor and ensure the smooth functioning of LT instrumentation systems, including sensors, controllers, and communication networks & respond promptly to breakdowns or alarms to minimize downtime.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Implement and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all LT instrumentation equipment & conduct regular inspections to identify potential faults and address them proactively.

Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in LT instrumentation systems, devices, replace faulty components, recalibrate instruments, and ensure accuracy in measurements.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards & follow safety procedures during maintenance of LT systems to prevent accidents and equipment damage.

Inventory & Spares Management:



Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and consumables for LT instrumentation systems & coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required materials.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, faults identified, repairs performed during the shift & provide shift reports to the Maintenance Manager, highlighting major incidents, repairs, and preventive actions taken.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement measures to improve the reliability and efficiency of LT instrumentation systems.

Brand Positioning: Uphold Adani's brand values in all i interactions and build strong relationships to fortify brand trust and loyalty.

Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience: 5-8 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance, with specific expertise in LT systems.

Solid knowledge of LT instrumentation systems, sensors, controllers, and associated equipment
