Role Description The Service Technician – Hospitality is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing equipment used in the preparation, storage, and display of organic products and baked items. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and ensuring equipment meets hygiene and safety standards.

The role involves working closely with kitchen and store staff to minimize downtime, training team members on proper equipment use, and maintaining accurate service records.

The Service

Technician also supports continuous improvement of operations by identifying preventive maintenance needs and recommending technical enhancements.

Qualifications

- Technical and mechanical skills: ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair hospitality and food service equipment, with basic electrical and mechanical understanding.
- Operational and safety skills:



knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling of tools and equipment in a hospitality or food production setting.
- Organizational and documentation skills: capability to maintain service logs, schedule preventive maintenance, and follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Communication and customer service skills: aptitude for working collaboratively with kitchen, store, and vendor teams, explaining technical issues clearly, and responding promptly to service requests.
- Preferred experience: prior work in hospitality, food service, or retail environments, particularly with kitchen or refrigeration equipment.
- Education and other qualifications: relevant technical diploma or certification; ability to work on-site in Bengaluru; strong problem-solving skills and readiness to work flexible hours when needed.
