We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Service Engineer to join our Bioprocess Technical Service team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and qualification of sophisticated bioprocess and downstream processing equipment.

Key Equipment Expertise

Candidates should have hands-on service experience with some or all of the following:

- Fermenters / Bioreactors
- TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration) Systems
- FPLC / Protein Purification Systems
- High-Pressure Homogenizers

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of bioprocess equipment at customer sites.
- Perform technical diagnosis and resolution of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and automation-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and service pumps, valves, pressure and temperature sensors, pH/DO probes, flow meters, transmitters, controllers, and associated process components.
- Carry out servicing and troubleshooting of high-pressure pumps, homogenizing valves, seals, pressure control systems, and other critical components of High-Pressure Homogenizers.
- Provide technical support for Fermenters/Bioreactors, including process control, agitation, aeration, temperature, pH, DO, pressure, and associated control systems.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of TFF systems, including pumps, pressure sensors, flow control, filtration modules, and system automation.
- Provide technical service support for FPLC/Protein Purification systems, including pumps, valves, detectors, fraction collectors, columns, and associated software/control systems.
- Execute IQ/OQ, calibration,



performance verification, and preventive maintenance activities in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain professional service documentation, including installation reports, preventive maintenance reports, calibration records, service reports, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with customers, internal technical teams, and OEM/principal companies for timely resolution of technical issues.
- Conduct equipment operation and basic maintenance training for customer personnel.
- Ensure timely closure of service calls while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of relevant field service experience, preferably within the Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical, Vaccine, or Life Sciences industry.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Fermenters/Bioreactors, TFF Systems, FPLC/Chromatography Systems, and/or High-Pressure Homogenizers.
- Good understanding of PLC/HMI-based automation, process instrumentation, pumps, valves, sensors, control systems, and process utilities.
- Knowledge of GMP/GLP environments, equipment qualification, calibration, and technical documentation will be an advantage.
