We offer our guests a harmonious blend of traditional Indian hospitality, authentic Ayurvedic & Sattvic culinary experiences, and spiritual tranquility. We are looking for a dedicated and polished Senior Steward to lead our dining service and deliver exceptional hospitality aligned with our retreat's core values.

Role Overview

As a Senior Steward, you will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house dining operations, ensuring flawless service standards, and maintaining the tranquil, high-touch environment our guests expect. You will act as the bridge between the kitchen and our guests, guiding junior service staff and crafting memorable, respectful dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Service Excellence: Oversee daily table service, ensuring prompt, courteous, and personalized service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and wellness tea sessions.
- Guest Engagement: Warmly welcome guests, explain culinary offerings (including Sattvic, Ayurvedic, and diet-specific menus), and address special dietary requirements with care and attention.
- Team Leadership: Assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising, training,



and mentoring junior stewards and service attendants to maintain operational standards.
- Hygiene & Presentation: Maintain strict cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards across all dining areas,service stations, and cutlery/crockery handling in accordance with wellness retreat standards.
- Order Management & Coordination: Efficiently manage order-taking, POS entry, and seamless coordination with the kitchen team to ensure timely food presentation.
- Ambience Maintenance: Ensure the dining room setup, seating arrangements, lighting, and peaceful atmosphere remain pristine and aligned with Yog Niketan’s aesthetic.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in food and beverage service, preferably in boutique hotels, wellness resorts,or fine-dining establishments.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Services preferred.
- Communication: Strong command of English and Hindi; excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with boutique resort service etiquette; basic knowledge of health, wellness,and vegetarian/Sattvic diets is a strong plus.
- Attributes: Calm demeanour, polished grooming, guest-first mindset, and ability to handle high-touch guest requests with patience and discretion.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
