About the Role

You will join the client’s in-house engineering team working on a clinical learning platformthat is going through a platform migration and adding AI-powered features. This is a hands-on senior role: you will write code, shape technical design, guide other engineers, and workdirectly with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Design, build and maintain front-end, back-end and API components using TypeScript, Node.js and React.
- Build and integrate AI features using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar).
- Design data models and write optimized SQL.
- Lead technical discussions, review code, and mentor junior engineers.
- Work in Agile sprints with US teams: refinement, estimation and status updates.
- Act as first point of escalation for complex technical issues in your area.

Required Skills

- 7+ years in software engineering, with solid hands-on full-stack work.
- TypeScript / JavaScript, Node.js, Express, React.
- SQL, relational data modeling, and query optimization.
- REST API design and third-party integrations.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs and using prompt engineering (structured outputs, system prompts).




- Daily use of AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code or similar).
- Unit testing / TDD and code reviews in Agile teams.
- Excellent spoken and written English, and comfort working directly with US clients.

Preferred Skills

- Agentic AI: tool/function calling, MCP, agent frameworks, LLM evaluation (LLM-as- judge, regression tests).
- Responsible AI practices: guardrails, PII handling.
- LMS integrations, e.g. Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or LTI/SCORM-based platforms.
- Python; exposure to Java or .NET.
- Healthcare, EHR (e.g., Epic) or edtech domain experience.
- Experience as a tech lead or mentor.
